| Hastings' Fishing Boats | |||||||||
| I grew up by the sea, with the beach and the south coast fishing community being only five minutes walk away and a continual source of interest. The fishing boats have to be drawn up onto the beach as there is no harbour and slowly being winched up out of the sea, they look like prehistoric beasts emerging from the waves. The wooden boats themselves are becoming extinct, being upgraded to cheaper metal-hulled vessels. To view my pictures, please click on the images below:
